Audiomack badges now come in three colours, and only two of them can be earned. Grey means Authenticated, the entry tier, and the bar is low enough that most working artists clear it inside a week. Blue means Verified, which sits at 500,000 plays and is granted at Audiomack’s discretion rather than automatically once you reach the number. Orange is the new one. It arrived with Audiomack Pro, a paid subscription that opened its waitlist in November 2025 and rolled out to artists in early 2026, so it comes with a monthly payment rather than with any milestone. That orange badge also changed the maths for everybody else, because Pro members get into the Audiomack Monetization Program straight away with the usual follower and play requirements waived.
Table of Contents
Start by putting the three badges side by side
| Badge | What it says about you | What it takes |
|---|---|---|
| Grey check, Authenticated | You are a real creator and this account is yours | A profile photo, twenty five followers, and two original uploads that are not covers, remixes or freestyles |
| Blue check, Verified | Audiomack has recognised you as a notable artist | 500,000 plays, a thousand followers, a complete profile with a recent picture, and then Audiomack’s own decision on top |
| Orange, Audiomack Pro | You subscribe to Audiomack Pro | A subscription payment, and nothing else |
Worth clearing up one confusion before anything else, because it wastes people months. Plenty of artists apply for verification when what they actually want is authentication. The grey check is the useful one early on. The blue check is a recognition badge that arrives long after your career has started moving under its own steam.
The grey check is the one that actually opens doors
Authentication is where the ladder starts, and it is the badge to go after first because almost everything else on Audiomack sits behind it.
The published requirements are short.
- A profile photo on the account.
- Twenty five followers.
- Two original uploads. Audiomack is specific that covers, remixes and freestyles do not count towards this, so a profile built on other people’s beats gets refused.
You apply from your account settings, and feedback normally arrives within five to seven days. If the application is denied you wait thirty days before you can apply again, which is why it pays to read the requirements properly instead of firing off an application on a half finished profile and losing a month to it.
What the grey check gets you is the creator side of the platform: the tools, the upload options and, far more importantly, eligibility for the monetization program. Without authentication, AMP is not open to you at all through the normal route.
The blue check is recognition and Audiomack does not owe it to anyone
Verification is a different animal. The published bar is 500,000 plays, alongside a thousand followers and a complete profile carrying a recent picture. Reach all of that and you can apply.
Reaching it does not mean you get it. Audiomack states plainly that meeting the minimums does not guarantee verification and that the decision sits entirely with them. There is no appeal queue that argues you into a blue check, and no timeline you can hold anybody to.
In practical terms it does less than most artists imagine. The badge sits next to your name and tells a stranger the account is the real one. It does not push your music and it does not change what you are paid.
Orange is a subscription, and what it buys is time
Audiomack Pro was announced in November 2025 with a waitlist, and launched to artists worldwide in early 2026. People who joined the waitlist were promised twenty five percent off when it opened.
What the subscription includes, going by Audiomack’s own announcements:
- The orange badge on your profile.
- Animated GIF avatars, which nobody outside Pro can use.
- Analytics detailed enough to show where listeners skip and where they stop, rather than only a running play total, plus what they share.
- A monthly Boost credit, spendable on Audiomack’s promotional tool, which Audiomack says delivers a set number of targeted plays.
- Human support with a stated response time of twenty four hours.
- Immediate access to the Audiomack Monetization Program, with the eligibility thresholds waived.
The badge is the part people notice and the last item is the part that matters. One obvious consequence of it being a subscription feature is that the badge depends on the subscription staying active, so treat orange as something you rent for as long as it earns its keep.
The monetization ladder now has a shortcut, and here is what it does not do
Through the normal route, AMP asks for an authenticated account, one hundred followers and fifty thousand plays across the previous six months, on content you actually own, with no policy strikes against you. Those are the numbers every guide about getting monetized on Audiomack tells artists to grind toward. They are still the numbers if you are not paying.
Pro removes the wait. Subscribe and you are in, whatever your follower count says.
So the obvious move is to stop grinding, pay the subscription and start earning on Monday. You were expecting me to land there, right? Look at what AMP pays against before you do. It pays on the plays your music gets. Skipping the fifty thousand play requirement does not create fifty thousand plays, so what the subscription really does is move you from earning nothing on a small audience to earning a small amount on that same small audience, minus a monthly fee. The arithmetic works when listeners are already arriving and the gate is the last thing standing between you and the money. It works badly when the gate was never your problem and the audience is.
The Boost credit is the other half of the calculation and it deserves a cold look. Boost buys targeted plays inside Audiomack, and those plays are real people being shown your track. Whether one credit a month moves your career depends entirely on what happens in the thirty seconds after somebody hears the song, which is the part no credit can buy for you.
Buying plays or followers is how artists lose the badge they already have
This part is serious, so read it before you go looking for a shortcut to twenty five followers or five hundred thousand plays.
Audiomack disqualifies accounts it finds buying streams and followers from verification, and authentication can be removed after it has already been granted. That second consequence is the expensive one, because AMP requires an authenticated account underneath it. Lose authentication and monetization goes with it, which means an artist who was finally earning stops earning, over a purchase that was meant to speed things up.
The same caution applies to anything asking for your Audiomack password in exchange for growth. Nothing legitimate needs it. An account somebody else has signed into can have its uploads altered, its payout details rewritten and its catalogue pulled down, and unwinding that is a support conversation you never want to be having.
Pick your next move based on where you actually are
| Where you are now | What to do next |
|---|---|
| Fewer than twenty five followers, or fewer than two original uploads | Finish the profile and upload. Nothing else on this page is available to you yet |
| Authenticated, plays flat, no income | Keep uploading and keep building an audience. Pro does not fix a listener problem |
| Authenticated, plays climbing, just short of the AMP window | The Pro waiver is aimed exactly at you. This is the clearest case for paying |
| Somewhere near five hundred thousand plays | Apply for verification when you qualify, then carry on regardless of the answer |
One last thing worth saying out loud, because badge questions tend to crowd it out. None of these three colours changes how many people hear your music. Grey opens the tools. Blue tells a visitor the account is genuine, and orange buys analytics along with a promotion credit and a shorter route into the payout system. The plays still have to come from somewhere, and every artist who has cleared five hundred thousand of them got there before the badge showed up rather than because of it.
