Trovo Gems cash out still works, and Gems are the only one of your three balances that ever turns into money. The live streaming module was switched off on 30 June 2026 at 00:00 GMT+8, which is why the payout screen is no longer where you left it. Creator Studio did not close with it. Your Gems are claimed there, on the earnings page, the same way they always were. Elixir had its own separate refund window and that window shut on 31 August 2026. ACE and leftover paid subscriptions were converted into Elixir before that, so anyone chasing those is chasing something that stopped being cash on 1 April 2026.

Three balances sit in your account and only one of them is yours
Creators mix these up constantly, then spend a fortnight arguing with support about the wrong pot. Here is what each one is.
| Gems | Your earnings. Viewers generated them by casting Elixir spells on you and by paying for subscriptions. | Claimable as cash. Trovo’s shutdown notice said withdrawal services would continue to be maintained. |
| Elixir | The currency viewers bought with their own card. | Still valid, still spendable inside Trovo’s mini games. The refund route ran through Personal Center, then Help and Feedback, and it closed on 31 August 2026. |
| ACE and paid subscriptions | Purchases were disabled on 1 April 2026. | Active subscriptions that ran past the shutdown, and unused paid Spells, were credited back as an equivalent amount of Elixir. |
Now, the date everyone quoted at each other all summer was 31 August. You were expecting me to say that was your payout deadline and you have blown it. That is not what that date was for. It governed Elixir refunds, which is money your viewers spent, and it never touched a streamer’s Gem balance at all. If you are a creator with earnings sitting there, your deadline was never announced. That is a different kind of uncomfortable, and it argues for claiming this week rather than next month.
Where the claim button lives now that the live tab is gone
Creator Studio is at studio.trovo.live and it still loads. Streamers who opened it during the wind down reported a stripped back sidebar with Revenue and Community left on it. That is enough. The earnings page inside it is where Trovo always kept the cash claim, and closing the live module did not move it.
- Open Creator Studio and go to the earnings page.
- Read the two Gem figures carefully. Total is everything you have earned and not yet spent. Balance is the settled part, and Balance is the only number you can claim against. It updates once a day, so Gems earned today become claimable tomorrow.
- Use Claim Cash Rewards. It shows you the dollar figure your Gems convert to before you commit to anything.
If that button refuses to do anything, you have not finished monetization onboarding, which is a separate screen under the Monetization menu. Trovo’s published prerequisites for it were a balance of 5,000 Gems, 20 followers, five hours of total stream time, and being at least 18 years old, with parental consent accepted between 16 and 18.
The gates that stop payouts, in the order they bite
Payout registration runs through Tipalti rather than through Trovo directly. You supply contact details and pick a payment method, then complete a tax form. Two things in there are worth slowing right down for.
Your country cannot be edited once the payee account is registered. Get it right the first time. Your tax identification number then goes through a check that Trovo estimated at one business day, and any supporting documents at roughly two. Until every stage reads as cleared, nothing is sent to you, and the earnings page will let you sit there believing a claim is in flight when it is parked.
Then there are the transfer fees, and this is where small balances quietly die.
| Direct deposit or ACH, US resident | About $0.60 |
| PayPal, US resident | About $2.00 plus 2%, capped near $3.00 |
| PayPal, outside the US | About $2.00 plus 2%, capped near $22.00 |
| eCheck | About $5.00, or about $1.00 for a local eCheck |
| Wire transfer | About $15.00 for a US resident, rising to $20.00 or $26.00 from outside the US |
Currency conversion sits on top of that if you are paid in anything other than dollars, and Trovo estimated roughly 3% on amounts under $500. Do the arithmetic before you pick. A wire on a modest balance can eat a genuinely painful share of it, while direct deposit or PayPal leaves far more of it in your hand.
If you streamed from North America, Europe or Latin America, your last earning month is earlier
Trovo ended its monetary and incentive programmes, Trovo 500 included, across those regions on 31 January 2026. That was five months before the platform went dark everywhere else. So a creator in Ohio and a creator in Jakarta are staring at the same earnings page showing two different stories, and the Ohio one has been frozen since January. If your figure has not moved since the winter and you were waiting on a final top up, that is your explanation. Claim what is on the page. Nothing more is coming.
What to do when support answers with the same paragraph twice
Streamers have posted publicly about waiting weeks for a reply, receiving copy and paste responses, and seeing reward figures land lower than a programme had promised with no explanation attached. I am not going to pretend there is a lever that forces payment out of a company winding a product down. There is not one. What there is, is a way of asking that is harder to bounce.
- Open one ticket and keep it open. Firing off five separate submissions pushes you back down the queue and gets you treated as a duplicate.
- Screenshot the earnings page showing the Total figure and the Balance figure, with the date visible in the frame.
- Quote your monetization status word for word, including anything sitting in Verifying or Error.
- Give the exact Gem number and the exact dollar amount the claim screen offered you.
- If a payment was initiated and never arrived, open a trace with the payment provider as well. A bank or PayPal investigation runs on its own timetable and does not need Trovo to reply to anybody.
Keep all of it. If the money lands, it is income, and the paper trail you build this week is the one your accountant will ask for next year.
Save the rest of it while the site is still serving pages
Trovo said account details, mini game data, levels and friend lists would be retained. Retained today does not mean retained forever. Anything you would be sorry to lose, pull it down now: your channel artwork, your panel copy, the list of regulars you want to find again, any clip you can still reach. Rebuilding an audience somewhere else is much easier when you arrive with the names.
A quick map before you open the tab
| You have Gems and finished monetization onboarding | Claim now through Creator Studio, earnings page, Claim Cash Rewards. |
| You have Gems but never onboarded | Complete the Monetization screen first, allow a few business days for verification, then claim. |
| You have Gems below 5,000 | You are under the threshold Trovo published for monetization. Contact support with your figure and ask directly. |
| You only have Elixir | The refund window closed on 31 August 2026. What remains is spendable in Trovo’s mini games. |
| You had ACE or a subscription running past the shutdown | It became Elixir. See the row above. |
